Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $5 billion—most of it $1 at a time—for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada, which, in turn, use the money where it’s needed the most. In Uganda, goats are more than a four-legged creature–they symbolize hope. Homes for Our Troops (HFOT) is a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization building specially adapted, mortgage-free homes nationwide for the most severely injured Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives. Website:

NFCC is a leader in North Fulton offering assistance to over 5,000 families annually. Food was distributed over 20,000 times, over 2,000 families utilized clothing vouchers, and $1.3 million dollars was expended for direct aid to our clients in need of financial assistance. Our Education Center offers an array of classes and opportunities to help residents move toward financial stability and self sufficiency. Website:
